For 19 years, Leave No One Behind has been the signature fundraising event to support the many programs and services at the New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV). The in-person event will take place the evening of Tuesday, October 25th at The Westin Boston Seaport District hotel in Boston, hosted by Master of Ceremonies, NBC10 Boston and NECN Chief Meteorologist Matt Noyes. This year’s Gala includes an on-demand event website which will feature video vignettes and a live stream of the in-person event.

 

Astronaut Michael López-Alegría will be the keynote speaker for Leave No One Behind. A member of the U.S. Astronaut Hall of Fame, López-Alegría is a four-time NASA astronaut who holds two NASA records for spacewalks and commanded the first private spaceflight to the International Space Station in April 2022. The event will also feature a performance by renowned neo-classical pianist BLKBOK.

About the New England Center and Home for Veterans:

The New England Center and Home for Veterans (NECHV) is one of the nation’s most prominent private community-based providers of human services to Veterans who are experiencing challenges following their military service. NECHV provides housing, clinical support, education, and employment services to over 1,000 Veterans a year and houses more than 300 Veterans on any given night. NECHV offers 97 permanent homes on site, achieving over a 95% occupancy rate. NECHV successfully assisted 104 Veterans enrolled in a transitional housing program to obtain permanent housing last year.
