Tough Ruck Nation is a group of military, first responders, and civilians whose sole purpose is to Ruck in honor and memory of Fallen Service Members, Police, Firefighters, and EMTs, while raising funds to support the families of the Fallen Warriors. The group marches with their 35+ pound rucks for a 26.2 mile marathon distance and carries the names of Fallen comrades with them.

On April 15, 2013, the Tough Ruckers were at the finish line of the Boston Marathon and joined the first responders to help those who were injured by the horrific blasts. Today, the Tough Ruck’s signature event, Tough Ruck 26.2 Boston, is held in partnership with the B.A.A. and it is held the weekend before Marathon Monday in Concord, MA. Each year, Tough Ruck 26.2 Boston finishers are awarded the first of the official Boston Marathon Medals and receive recognition from the B.A.A. Military Friends Foundation is proud to be the official charity of Tough Ruck Nation.
