TFFB is proud to present our 2020 Virtual Taiwan Film Festival “Lost and Found” Series to the audiences all around the world!
Taiwan Film Festival of Boston (TFFB) is excited to screen our 2020 Film Festival virtually, which you can enjoy from the comfort of your own couch! Although it is a disappointment that we cannot meet you physically, virtual screenings this year will allow us to introduce these awesome movies to more audiences beyond the Greater Boston Area and all around the world!
Starting from August we will screen at least one movie a month until the end of the year. Each movie will be accompanied by a post-screening forum to let you have a dialogue with our special guests. We hope this new format will allow you to connect with our theme “Lost and Found”, reflecting other lost and found moments in your life, whether it around your family and loved ones, health, or issues like equity and justice.
During the weekends of Taiwanese Father's Day, August 7th-9th, we are going to screen Director Hsin Chi's (辛奇, 1924-2010) film, "Foolish Bride, Naïve Bridegroom", and Director Chris Leong's short film, "Like Father, Like Daughter." On August 8th, Director Leong will also join us for a forum to discuss these two films, sharing stories from behind the scenes and her journey through a career in filming. In addition, we hope these discussions would be able to connect to one of your lost relationships, and also found the treasured moment of your life.
