Help us kick off a year of programming around our 2020 theme, “Who Are Cambridge Women?” Founded in 1891, the Cambridge YWCA has been dedicated to the health and well-being of Cambridge women for nearly 130 years. In conversation with Diana Lempel, the Society’s Doing History Curator, YWCA Executive Director Eva Martin-Blythe will discuss the legacy of the YWCA as a space for and by women, and will connect the organization’s history with its current efforts to empower women and girls in Cambridge through its programs in health, housing and racial justice. The Annual Meeting of the membership will immediately follow the presentation.
