As we commemorate the 250th anniversary of the Boston Massacre, The Boston Massacre Reenactment will take place on Saturday, March 7, in two parts:
• 1:00 – 5:00 p.m.: Reenactors will illustrate the tensions between Boston residents and British soldiers through a combination of interpretations inside and outside of the Old State House, Old South Meeting House, and the The Printing Office of Edes & Gill at Faneuil Hall. (See below for a more detailed schedule.)
• 7:00– 7:30 p.m.: The reenactment of the Boston Massacre incident will take place outside the Old State House near the Boston Massacre Site on the Freedom Trail.
Participation in reenactments inside of the Old State House and Old South Meeting House are included with museum admission.
FULL SCHEDULE OF EVENTS...
OUTSIDE THE OLD STATE HOUSE:
• 1pm: Sentry box, changing of the guard
• 1:15pm: Football incident
• 4:30pm: Isabella Montgomery disputes with Susannah Cathcart
• 7pm: Evening reenactment
ALONG WASHINGTON STREET:
Departs from Old State House (OSH)/Old South Meeting House (OSMH) at designated times. Select interpreters present scheduled mini walks between the two sites offering background about the locations and their persona’s perspective on the tensions in Boston.

• 4pm: Discussion about recreating the uniforms for the 29th Regiment of Foot
