In 2024, Boston’s Economic Mobility Pathways (EMPath), a Boston-based nonprofit that supports families to move out of poverty, is thrilled to mark 200 years of empowering women and strengthening families. Our upcoming 200-Year Anniversary Gala on June 6, 2024 is set to be an unforgettable night, which will include dancing, storytelling and incredible food. Boston Mayor Michelle Wu will be our Guest of Honor.
This promises to be a night of joy and reflection as President and CEO and former Boston mayor Kim Janey joins with supporters to celebrate EMPath’s rich history as well as the incredible impact the organization has today. Additional gala honorees include philanthropist, entrepreneur and chair of The Boston Foundation Sandy Edgerley as well as Shellee Mendes, business owner and entrepreneur. Attendees will enjoy small plates from some of Boston’s top female chefs from restaurants including Flour Bakery & Cafe, Pagu, Stillwater and more.
