Spring is just around the corner ;) And the best way to celebrate its arrival in style is to join the Compaq Big Band and an always-exciting group of dancers for "A Roaring '20s Formal'’. This is the 2019 spring social swing dance presented by the phenomenal folks of BC Full Swing on Saturday March 23rd on the campus of Boston College in Chestnut Hill, MA.


***FREE*** admission, and the public is welcome! Classy, vintage, and formal attire encouraged.


There will be a group-friendly introductory swing lesson from 7:00pm-8:00pm, and the band plays 8:00pm-10:30pm. Dancers of all levels and age groups, singles, couples, groups, and other collegiate swing and ballroom dance organizations are welcome.


We’ll have the great Cara Campanelli (a BC alum!!!) on vocals, channeling Ella Fitzgerald, Diane Schuur, Joanie Somers, and others, plus swingin’ instrumentals.


The venue is the dining commons on the lower level of Lyons Hall (also known as 'The Rat').

Lyons Hall is located near the center of the map. Free parking on the access road in from the Main Gate on Commonwealth Avenue. Or use the Commonwealth Garage in the middle of campus. For map apps or GPS do NOT use "140 Commonwealth Avenue" - a better bet is “Lyons Hall Chestnut Hill MA”.
