Wicked Running Club Announces Return of the 18th Annual Frosty Four Road Race on January 1, 2025 USATF Certified Course and the 1st State Championship Event of 2025 by the Road Runners Club of America.


Salem, MA — Start 2025 at the Wicked Running Club’s annual Frosty Four Mile road race, taking place on January 1 at 10:00 AM. This popular New Year’s Day tradition draws over 600 participants each year and promises a memorable mix of friendly competition, community spirit, and celebration.


Run Through Historic Salem

The fast, USATF certified 4 mile route is a highlight in itself, taking runners through the scenic streets of historic downtown Salem. Enjoy the charm and beauty of this storied New England town as they make their way through a course lined with iconic landmarks and enthusiastic supporters.


Supporting Local High School Athletes

A portion of race proceeds from the Frosty Four supports high school scholarships and high school track programs. This initiative provides crucial funding for training programs, equipment, and opportunities that help young athletes grow and succeed.


RRCA Championship Event

This year’s race has been designated as the first State Championship Event of 2025 by the Road Runners Club of America. The goal of RRCA’s Championship Event Series is to celebrate and shine a spotlight on well-run, community-focused events and to award their top performing runners. RRCA will provide awards for open male and female, 40+ male and female, 50+ male and female, 60+ male and female, open adaptive athlete male and female, and nonbinary athletes. Packet Pickup at New England Running Company

Runners can pick up their race packets on December 30 and December 31 from 12-4PM. at New England Running Company, a standout store known for its dedication to the local running community. With a wide range of quality gear, expert advice, and welcoming service, the store is the perfect place to prepare for race day.


Limited-Edition Race Shirts

Frosty Four exclusive race shirts are available only to the first 300 registrants. Early registration is recommended.


Post-Race Afterparty
