Happy Lunar New Year! Spanning from January 29 to February 12, Lunar New Year is a time for celebration, bonding with family, and honoring ancestors for many Asian communities in Boston and beyond.
2025 is the Year of the Wood Snake which is predicted to be full of knowledge and grace. With family and friends, learn about the unique histories and customs of the holiday with these celebrations in the city. There’s plenty of food, music, and luck to go around!

Info: With over 80 vendors, the Tết Nguyên Đán (Vietnamese Lunar New Year) festival, is the perfect way to learn about local Vietnamese businesses, Vietnamese culture, and more. At this large-scale festival celebrate the Year of the Snake or Xuân Ất Tỵ, which is a symbol of wisdom, transformation, and renewal in Vietnamese culture.
