Red Sox fans are gearing up for another season of sunshine, local brews, and rooting for the home team at Fenway Park. Of course, the Fenway neighborhood has a lot more going on than just baseball. It’s a hub for concerts, culture, and nights on the town. No matter your occasion, here’s where you can land for cocktails and a vibe.

ROWDY SPORTS BARS
Bleacher Bar (pictured)
Info: It’s hard to beat Bleacher Bar for a game-day spot. Located beneath Fenway Park’s bleachers, this lively and unique bar has a view of centerfield and serves up buckets of beer and sports bar eats like wings and sliders.
Info: This local favorite spot has views of Fenway from the patio and plenty of TVs inside to keep an eye on the game action. The menu highlights a long beer list and hearty pub fare.
Info: This Irish pub just steps from Fenway Park is known as a great game day spot. They also host live entertainment seven days a week, so it’s always a party in this joint. Whiskey is the name of the game on this menu.
Info: The Red Sox game is just the beginning at this spot, where you can break out your own competitive spirit for ping-pong and cornhole games while watching the game. Pro Tip: come on a Monday for $7 pizza.
PRE-GAME CHILL SPOTS
Info: Creamy queso, potent margaritas, and half-priced tacos every Tuesday, what’s not to love? Loco’s Fenway location offers a sprawling space and an equally robust menu of Mexican eats.
Info: For a more robust game day meal, head to Sweet Cheeks Q, Tiffani Faison’s ode to BBQ with mouthwatering meat cuts and three different BBQ sauces all made in house. Don’t sleep on the flaky biscuits with honey butter.
Info: This sprawling brewery space has bars in almost every room so you’re guaranteed service on busy game days. In addition to a robust beer list, the brewery makes spiked seltzers and spiked smoothies.
POST-CONCERT PARTIES
Info: Featuring a killer playlist and neon lights, this brewpub has the perfect energetic vibe for a pre or post-concert bite. Snack on street tacos and grilled sandwiches and sip on one of the on-tap brews or a craft cocktail.
Info: Why stop at one concert? Loretta’s Last Call regularly hosts live country music acts, not to mention line dancing twice a week. Go for the sound but stay for the robust whiskey list and the Southern-inspired menu.
Info: Keep an eye on the time without sacrificing culinary quality at Time Out Market, a food hall serving up craft cocktails and dishes from some of Boston’s best restaurants in a communal dining setting. On weekends a live DJ turns up the vibe to keep that concert energy going all night long.
Info: On weekends this bowling spot turns into a 21+ entertainment venue slinging craft cocktails and comfort food to a danceable playlist. Keep the night going at the on-site arcade, bowling lanes, and pool hall.
SOPHISTICATED VIBE
Info: A long-loved neighborhood favorite, Eastern Standard serves up classic cocktails and Brasserie-style menu items (think steak frites and roast chicken) in a moody, romantic atmosphere.
Info: Tucked behind Eastern Standard you’ll find an intimate and innovative craft cocktail bar slinging a rotating menu of drinks and snacks.
Info: D.W. French is a love letter to Parisian cuisine in a beautiful space lined with red banquets and a powder blue bar. Sample steak tartare and moules frites or keep it simple with a classic Croque Madame.
Info: This intimate wine bar focuses on small production, natural wines primarily from female producers. Pair your wine with charcuterie or a series of delectable small plates.
