Wormtown Ska was established July 1st 2012, starting with a radio program at WCUW 91.3 in Worcester, and then on August 17th, they put together their first ska show at The Raven!
Later on, the founder of Wormtown Ska created Wormtown Productions, which then became WooTunes Productions. Under these names, there were a variety of live shows brought to the city, from poetry, to hip-hop, to rock, funk, and jazz! WooTunes then became The Worcester Community Music and Arts Center, a FB Page and Group focused on helping lift the local community music and arts scene since November 28th 2012.
So, to celebrate 12 years of Wormtown Ska (boy, WtS is almost a teenager), we're taking three days, August 16th-18th to skank, dance, jazz, and pick it up where ska shows in Wormtown took off 12 years ago! Friday night's lineup has a blend of Indi rock, ska, ska-punk, punk, and more, a perfect way to get the weekend going! On Saturday, we've got some heavier bands coming, with some punk, ska-punk, skacore, and hardcore! And then, to close out the weekend, there's the Simmer Down Sunday Jazz show!
Ok, now, with that said, both Friday and Saturday will have six bands, so please come early. TY! And without further ado, here's the lineup!

Saturday night's lineup has a heavier set of bands coming with some punk, ska-punk, skacore, and hardcore! Another great lineup for this fest! And tomorrow, to close out the weekend, there's the Simmer Down Sunday Jazz show!
