The Cambridge Science Festival is an annual 10-day celebration of science, technology, engineering, arts, and math in Cambridge and New England. Every spring, the Cambridge Science Festival makes science accessible, engaging and fun for everyone through multifaceted, multicultural events.


Clear your schedule, gather your family and friends and join us for our signature 10-day Festival, packed with hands-on events that encourage curiosity and invite exploration. This year you’ll find a wide range of programming that will inspire kids and adults to celebrate science, dive deeper and—as always—be curious!


Explore questions of the moment and for the ages. What’s behind “fake news” and where’s it going? Is there other intelligent life in our galaxy? How are leading journalists grappling with climate change? Join events that range from small and intimate (hone your iPhone photography skills) to our expo-style Science Carnival & Robot Zoo.


Peek behind the curtain at cutting-edge research happening in our community. Learn what zebrafish can teach us about cancer and blood disease or join MGH and local biomedical researchers for a Research Rumble showdown.
