Great Scott

It’s hard to believe that until about ten years ago, Great Scott was known more for cover bands, Sunday Ska, and “Ladies ‘80s” nights. Now it’s Allston’s epicenter of live indie, underground, and rock shows -- and a milestone gig for any local band trying to make it big so they can inevitably ditch Boston for Brooklyn or somewhere cooler. And we’re fine with that, because there’s always another band waiting to take the stage in the L-shaped room at the corner of Commonwealth and Harvard.
