Mike Reiss has been writing for The Simpsons for twenty-five years. In that time he’s seen the show once condemned by the National Council of Churches, but later praised by the Pope! Reiss will discuss how religion is handled on the “The Simpsons”, and why God is the only character on the show with five fingers.
Reiss attended Harvard where he met writing partner Al Jean and served as president of the Harvard Lampoon. In addition to his writing and show-running duties on "The Simpson" he created the animated comedy "The Critic."
