The Burlington Community Concert Series will host the world famous Glenn Miller Orchestra on Wednesday, March 11. Co-sponsored by Burlington Public Schools and the Burlington Area Chamber of Commerce, the concert will take place at 7:00 pm in the Fogelberg Performing Arts Center of Burlington High School.
The Glenn Miller Orchestra is the most popular and sought after big band in the world today for both concert and swing dance engagements. With its unique jazz sound and memorable hits including “In the Mood,” “Moonlight Serenade,” and “Chattanooga Choo Choo,” the Glenn Miller Orchestra is considered to be one of the greatest bands of all time.
Directed by Nick Hilscherf who also doubles as male vocalist, the orchestra features the beautiful sounds of female vocalist Natalie Angst and a full complement of brass, woodwinds and percussion instruments that will have the audience tapping their toes and swinging to the beat!
Tickets for the Burlington Community Concert Series performance of The Glenn Miller Orchestra are $20 for senior citizens/students, and $25 for adults. They are available at BurlingtonTheatre.com, 781-A-FUN-TIC and at the door. Please note: seats are reserved and anticipated to sell quickly. Please purchase your tickets early.
