The Edward M. Kennedy Institute hosts an evening of spoken word with youth performers from MassLEAP (Literary Education & Performance). Young poets will share their voices and views on the important issues of this year’s Presidential election in the Institute’s full-scale replica of the U.S. Senate Chamber.
The evening will feature original poetry from teens and panel discussion on issues that affect young people today.
Speak Up! Art is Action, part of ArtWeek Boston at the Institute, invites artists to share and celebrate a spectrum of political voices in a variety of mediums. The activities at the Edward M. Kennedy Institute are designed to inspire political empathy, understanding, and calls to action.
