Sunday, October 25th. The last outdoor market of the 2015 season.
We love Halloween at at the South End Open Market @ SoWa! And there is nothing quite like our Halloween Costume Contest to end the outdoor season with a bang! And we’ve got some fabulous prizes lined up for the best costumes! The contest is open to all so come on down, the more the scarier! The only hitch, costumes must reflect our alien/space theme in order to enter.
In addition to the customer costume contest, our vendors will be competing for best costume, booth decor and decorated food truck. And you can bet the the costumes and decor will be amazing, considering we have some of the best artists and designers from around New England!
HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST AND RULES:
The Halloween Costume Contest is open to anyone, no matter what age or where you live. But please remember all costumes must reflect our alien/space theme in order to participate in the contest.
REGISTRATION AND CHECK-IN:
Participants wishing to enter any of the contests should check-in between 10AM – 1PM at the registration table at the front of the Arts Market, next to the main stage.
JUDGING:
Judging for the best costume begins at 1PM sharp on the main stage at the Arts Market. All entrants will parade on stage in front of the judges and crowd. Our judges will then pick six finalists who will be called back for the final selection of the 1st, 2nd and 3rd place winners.
PRIZES:
1st place – $250.00
2nd place – $100.00
3rd place – $50.00
