The Boston Music Awards are set to kick off the 2015 voting season with the second-annual Sound Of Our Town music festival, a free, all-ages, Vanyaland-curated event that goes down Thursday, September 24, at the award-winning outdoor space The Lawn on D.
This year’s lineup features live sets by alt-pop quintet Tribe Society, soul-driven rock powerhouse Ruby Rose Fox, DIY trailblazer Will Dailey, dance-pop heroes Bearstronaut, sludgy guitar-pop trio Vundabar, experimental-rock newcomers Oh Malô, and Mikey Holland’s American Denim, a Boston supergroup performing the sounds of our town spanning several decades — with the vocal help from some very special guests to be announced over the coming weeks.
