Join Boston Opera Collaborative for an exciting, original evening of storytelling through the mediums of song and dance. Be captivated by the Spanish vocal music of de Falla, Granados, Obradors, Rodrigo and Turin illuminated by riveting flamenco dancers. Immerse yourself in the music of Russian greats Rachmaninoff, Tchaikovsky, Rimsky-Korsakov and Glinka as it melds with evocative modern dance choreography. Underlying Rhythms will explore that universal pulse that links us all. This unique fusion of music and dance will tell stories of motherhood with the attendant spectrum of growth and joy, confusion and grief that unites women across all borders of the globe.
