Join us for “Ones to Watch: Boston’s Emerging Artists,” an eight-part series featuring up-and-coming artists across an array of genres: dance, music, performance art, storytelling, poetry and theater.
MASARY is an interdisciplinary studio-practice based in Boston. Their artwork is at the intersection of sound, light, performance and new technologies.
Ritual/System is a conceptual, live-performance, audio visual research project. The goal of the work is to consider, question and make more tangible certain materials of performance practice; sound, light and space. Through live electronic music performance, real-time audio visualization, and spatialized perspective shifts through lighting, MASARY invites audience members to join them in this query.
This event will feature quad (surround) audio, immersive light and hyper-synchronized audio-visual (video) treatments. It is one part avant-garde academic inquiry, one part experimental dance club, one part (or maybe two) TBD. Come open to listen, meditate, dance and connect.
