Come on down and join the Alt Trivia Variety Revolution!
Have you ever wanted to be kissed inappropriately by Richard Dawson in front of your whole family? Or make a Faustian deal with Monte Hall? Well, Old School Game Show (OSGS) is the next best thing. Come and run your fingers through our shag carpet detailed, Family Feud style corrals. This isn't your parents trivia game. Oh, wait... your parents were pimps? Then it's exactly like that. It's as much fun as a fondue key party and as action packed as Lonnie Anderson's tube top. Feel the adrenaline rush when you step toe-to-toe in our buzzer-based trivia extravaganza.
OSGS is a live interactive theatre experience done with all the pageantry and analog style of a 1970's television game show. The show combines elements of pub trivia, variety specials, and comedy sketches to produce a completely unique trivia experience that tests players pop culture acumen. With influences as vast as vaudeville, Pee Wee's Playhouse, Andy Kaufman, and Battle of the Network Stars how could you go wrong? Surprise guests and characters include; a washed up C-List celebrity puppet who hosts his own round as well as a talking robot with an identity crisis. The entire show is backed by an amazing live band playing original OSGS music. It's all the fun of an afternoon spent rolling around in the rumpus room without the rugburn.
$15 advance tix, $20 at the door. Limited number of $30 guaranteed contestant tix. Make sure to grab your tix in advance, it's cheaper and our last show sold out!
