The spirits and cocktails of Latin America are well represented in both the classic and modern bar practices. From the Margarita, the Pisco Sour and Cuba Libre, tipples from south of the border are delicious and very accessible to make and source ingredients for. In this course, we’ll learn about the rich history of spirits like rum, pisco and tequila hailing from various regions in Latin America and how they’ve made their way to the US. We’ll be tasting and learning some of the base spirits and learning easy recipes and techniques to make them at home and for cocktail parties. Instructor: Oliver McClung
