Imagine a beautiful summer day, relaxing on your porch and listening to great music. Make that a live band, and multiply x100 and you’ve got Jamaica Plain Porchfest 2015, a free community music and performing arts festival that transforms JP into a massive block party! On July 11, over 100 local bands will perform on over 70 porches throughout JP. Both emerging artists and established ones will take the stage with world music, jazz, R&B, soul, Motown, classical and more. New this year, porches will also feature theatre, dance, spoken word, storytelling and circus arts!
