Female Funders is an organization dedicated to empowering 1000 women to make their first angel investment by Fall 2016. Join us on January 27th in Boston for an exclusive gathering of powerful women committed to empowering entrepreneurs through angel investment.
The Event is part of an 8 City Breakfast series being help in cities across North America between January 19th & February 4th. We'll be in Toronto, Ottawa, Vancouver, Boston, New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Seattle

Betty Francisco
Angel Investor
A passionate health and wellness professional and the Founder of FitNation Ventures, a boutique consulting practice specializing in youth fitness and lifestyle programs. Betty has over 16 years of experience advising executives and investors in health clubs, life sciences and technology companies in the areas of operations, legal, compliance, risk management, and human resources. Most recently, I was the EVP, General Counsel for a luxury fitness and lifestyle brand with seven clubs nationwide, operated as Sports Club/LA and Reebok Sports Club/NY. Betty is also the Founder of the Latina Circle, a non-profit social venture focused on developing Latina executive leaders.
Barbara Clarke
Angel Investor, Founding Member of Astia Angels
Barbara Clarke is an economist and active angel investor with over ten years of management consulting experience and ten years of nonprofit experience. She is a founding member of Astia Angels. She recently served as the Chair of the Board of Trustees for Schools for Children, a network of independent schools. Previously, Barbara served as the President of Tufts University’s Alumni Association, the National Director for the National Alliance for Grieving Children, CFO for Cradles to Crayons. As a Senior Manager at PricewaterhouseCoopers and KPMG she specialized in intellectual property valuations. She holds a BA in Quantitative Economics from Tufts University and an MA in International Economics and Finance from Brandeis University’s Lemberg-International Business School. She is based in Boston and invests in companies across the United States.

The Female Funders Breakfast Series is open to both accredited and unaccredited investors.
We welcome everyone from veteran angel investors, to newbie angels, and aspiring angels. If you are just getting into the angel investment world, there is no better place to start than this event.
That said, in order to provide the best quality experience for our community, the Female Funders Breakfast Series is an exclusive event restricted to women serious about angel investing. In order to attend you must agree that you have at least $10K in disposable income that you plan to invest in startups over the next year.
