Once more, VROCC brings to our neighborhood a unique opportunity to experience this tradition of love and celebration of life through “ El Dia de Los Muertos” (Day of the Dead). We’d also like your organization to participate in the activity of creating a festive yet thoughtful altar for your loved ones who have passed - pets count too! Don’t worry, it’s not as complicated as it sounds. We have a few easy steps that you can follow.
Your altar(s) will be created in VROCC during the community potluck, and it will be on display through the community conversations November 1rst and 2nd with community leaders, officials, poets, and artists. We will gather to discuss how to cultivate peace in our community. And if you didn’t get a chance partake in the Dancing Elotes experience, this is your last chance! With these events, we conclude the Dancing Elote’s first season. Check out our blog!
We hope that you might join us!
