Curated Cuisine is a monthly series at WBUR CitySpace examining all things edible, from the chefs cooking the food to the writers reviewing the recipes. Meet the people shaping the food industry, both local and national and enjoy a post-show bite inspired by the conversation.
Calling all parents of young children! If you’ve experienced battles at the dinner table trying to motivate your kids to eat new foods THIS is the event for you! Jack Zhang, chef, foodie and full-time/stay-at-home Dad, took up the challenge of teaching his two-year-old son Levi to love all kinds of food. His videos preparing meals and feeding Levi went viral and now all those recipes are featured in a new cookbook, “Cultivating a Curious Palette.”
Zhang will discuss the book and Cooking for Levi with Yasmin Amer, Radio Boston executive producer and mother of a fussy 5-year-old eater. Book your babysitters or bring the kids and join us for a fun evening featuring techniques, tips, tricks and videos. All fans of Cooking for Levi are welcome too, of course!
Copies of the book will be available for purchase. Zhang will sign copies and guests will enjoy a bite from the book following the conversation.
This event is co-produced by Boston University Metropolitan College Programs in Food & Wine.
