Casey and Bethany haven’t spoken for a year. Casey has writer’s block and a friend with benefits that’s about to shut down the benefits, and Bethany is treading water in a safe relationship and an overwhelming job for a demented drama professor. When Casey is inspired to create the next big thing, they find themselves nose to nose once again attempting to produce the nutty professor’s “magnum opus”. When the play is revealed to be not all it seems, the two have to work together to find a creative solution.


It’s the banter-laced, rocking adventure Aaron Sorkin would have written, to the extent his lawyers would allow, and a testament to the power of art, family, friendship, and double-malt scotch.
