ArtLifting is an award-winning organization that helps homeless and disabled artists sell their work. Started in Boston, ArtLifting now empowers artists all over the country. Join us at this special event, where you’ll meet some of the artists, see the projects they’ve worked on—including one-of-a-kind iPhone cases—and learn how this project helped change their lives

ArtLifting is an award-winning Boston-born social enterprise that sells life-changing art. The online art gallery features inspiring artwork created by homeless and disabled artists from across the country.


The startup launched in December of 2013 and has been featured in dozens of news sources including the Washington Post, the Huffington Post, ABC, CNET, and the Boston Globe. In 2014, ArtLifting beat 98% of 1700 applicants to become a MassChallenge Silver Prize Winner, won Mayor Walsh's top social impact award, and won a Henry Prize for Social Impact from the John W. Henry Family Foundation

ArtLifting currently supports homeless and disabled artists in 8 cities across the country. Since its launch, ArtLifting has enabled 5 formerly homeless artists to gain housing. The startup continues to expand its impact across the country and grow into a national brand.
