Boston has seen a number of tall buildings erected in the past 20 years, but hasn’t seen a new “tallest building” in almost 50 years. Join us on our journey as we virtually visit iconic Boston buildings that were the tallest in town when they first graced Boston’s streets. We will explore who built these structures and what Boston was like at the time they were built.


Program registration is free with a suggested donation to support Boston By Foot's nonprofit mission to inspire locals and visitors to discover and appreciate the diverse stories of Boston by exploring the cityscape together. Virtual programs are recorded and a link to the recording is sent to all registered participants a week after the program.
