High School Poetry Slam Competition. Dozens of Established Poets. Publishing Panel.
An Evening of Poetry, Music & Dance. Emerging Poets and two Open Mic's.
Wednesday evening (Apr 4th): Presenting our 4th Annual High School Poetry Slam Competition. From 7:00-9:30pm, teams from local high schools will compete. Hosted by Alex Charalambides, Massachusetts Coordinator of Louder Than A Bomb
Alumni Hall on the Fisher College campus, 116 Beacon Street.
Friday afternoon (Apr 6th): The Festival continues at Boston Public Library with Keynote Poets, including recipients of the Massachusetts Book Award and the Pulitzer Prize; also featuring poetry with music, by the acclaimed group, "Melopoeia."

Friday evening (Apr 6th): Presenting our 5th annual evening of Poetry Music & Dance, produced by Kirk Etherton, BNPMF board member and established local poet and musician. Featuring writers and performers in an eclectic mix of genres, with artists from Berklee and greater Boston. Sponsored by the Middle East & ZuZu Restaurants and Music Clubs, in partnership with the Community Church.

Saturday (Apr 7th) & Sunday(Apr 8th): Over the weekend at the Boston Public Library, you can enjoy over 50 established and emerging poets and musicians, such as Boston's Poet Laureate, Danielle Legros Georges, other former and current poets laureate, and professors
and students at area colleges. Both days include an Open Mic (see Saturday and Sunday pages for details). Saturday also features our popular panel on Craft and Publishing.
