Boston Calling’s popular Block Party Series returns to Dewey Square Park every Thursday evening from May 4, 2017 through September 14, 2017. The free parties give Bostonians the chance to enjoy sets from local artists like DJ Frank White, DJ Knife, and Joshua Carl. Boston Calling’s Block Party Series is in partnership with The Rose Kennedy Greenway Conservancy and is presented by Bud Light, 19 Crimes Wines and CHEN PR. Each party will have a cash bar; fans must be 21+ to enter. A weekly schedule will be available on https://www.facebook.com/bostoncallingblockparties/.
The Boston Calling Block Party series is in addition to Boston Calling’s three-day music festival, taking place May 26, 27 and 28, 2017 at the Harvard Athletic Complex and is headlined by Chance the Rapper, Mumford & Sons and Tool.
Scheduled Block Party performers will be announced each week on social media. All Block Parties will take place from 5:00pm to 8:00pm. In the event of rain, the Block Party will be moved to Friday.
