(BOSTON, MA) – The Boston Center for Adult Education (BCAE), the premier nonprofit adult education center located in Boston, MA, is hosting a unique conversation and reception between two expert pastry chefs at its “Baker to Baker” event on Wednesday, April 22nd, 2015. Joanne Chang, chef and owner of Boston’s Flour Bakery, will sit down with Dorie Greenspan, culinary guru, celebrated cookbook author, and winner of six James Beard and IACP (International Association of Culinary Professionals) awards to discuss a shared love for all things sweet.
From 6:00PM—8:00PM Greenspan and Chang will recount their numerous experiences as bakers including favorite ingredients, travels and most-prized recipes. Their anecdotes will explore a wide range of professional knowledge and a continued passion for baked goods.
Both chefs’ newest cookbooks, Joanne Chang’s Baking with Less Sugar and Dorie Greenspan’s Baking Chez Moi, will be for sale at the reception where the authors will converse with guests and sign book copies upon request. In addition, attendees will sample recipes from both cookbooks. This event is $15.00 for admission to the presentation and reception.
The discussion will be held at the Boston Center for Adult Education located at 122 Arlington Street in Boston, MA. Registration is required. For more information or to sign up, please visit www.bcae.org or call the Boston Center for Adult Education at 617-267-4430.
