For two years Somerville has been host to it's very own fun and scary Halloween show. Formerly the Armory of Horror, the newly rebranded Ballroom of Horror has found a home at the hottest new venue in Somerville - ONCE Ballroom. Along with the classic Maze of Terror that is the signature attraction, expect live music to be a big part of the experience.


The Ballroom of Horror will be open 3 days this - October 29th, 30th and Halloween night. Each day will have different music acts centered around Halloween themes. Saturday night promises to be Chiptunes night showcasing music inspired by video games and science fiction. While Halloween will be Horror Punk night featuring thrash music based on horror films.


As in previous years, there is something for everyone. Sunday October 30th at noon the maze becomes a lot less scary as the Ballroom opens for Family Day. Parents can bring their kids for safe trick or treating though the maze and costumes are encouraged. In addition to the maze, kids will have activities like arts and crafts and games. Entertaining the guests will be Matt Heaton with his unique brand of music he calls Toddlerbilly which is Rockabilly for kids.
