Relive the nostalgia of American Girl with other adult fans. Featuring a talk from the hosts of the American Girls Podcast!
Join Allison Horrocks and Mary Mahoney, the hosts of the popular American Girls Podcast, for a talk over tea. As public historians, Mahoney and Horrocks provide historical commentary and context on the American Girl book series. They will discuss the resurgence of American Girl in millennial pop culture and their personal relationships with the American Girl universe. A Q & A session will follow.
The talk is just the beginning! Relive your childhood nostalgia by meeting other American Girl fans. Friendships will be formed over tea and dessert, and by participating in a guided craft, taking selfies at our "photo booth," and more. Come celebrate the enduring legacy of American Girl and the lessons we learned through their stories to understand who we are today.
Registration is required at eventbrite.com. Please bring your own teacup if possible!
