This short course is designed for students to review and integrate the content of all the 10 lessons in this beginner's textbook, to introduce themselves and their family, and to talk about shopping, dining and travel, all in Chinese. Students are encouraged to review all the vocabulary and sentence structures in the book during their summer vacation, and compose passages about themselves on these topics before the course starts. The writing exercise at the end of each lesson in this book should all be completed by September. This is also a time to transit into writing Chinese characters and to become less reliant on Pinyin. Prerequisite for this review class is: Students must have completed at least our Beginner Levels 1-3 or equivalent. Instructor: Jin Cooper
