Our third annual Fermentation Festival will be held on Sunday, October 4th at the brand new Boston Public Market Association!


Like the festivals in previous years, this year will be a tour de fermentation! And like always, it will be a completely free event dozens of speakers, demos, small fermenting businesses, and authors.


A few highlights this year will include:


- two dozen small fermentation-focused artisan businesses that will be on hand to sample their fermented food & drink
- Science Corner where you will be able to look at cheese microbes under a microscope and explore the microbiology of fermented foods with Ben Wolfe, Ginkgo Bioworks & AOBiome
- speaker series with chefs, distillers & at-home fermenters
- giant Kraut Mob where you can experiment with fermentation and create your own sauerkraut for free!
