15th Annual Neponset Pumpkin Float

Looking for a fun way to show off your pumpkin carving skills? Bring the family and your friends and join in the fall festivities at the Neponset Pumpkin Float!

Float your halloween creations down Davenport Creek at the Pope John Paul II Park in Dorchester. Candles and floats will be provided at the park, just bring your carved pumpkin! Pumpkins must be 8 inches or smaller or they won't fit on the floats. No pre-registration is required. Check in is at 5:30 p.m. at the Hallet Street Entrance to the park.

Don't forget to dress up in your favorite halloween costume!!

Pumpkins will drift out toward the river with the tide. After the event, they will be recovered and sent to be composted
